AC Milan vs Crotone 4-0 Italian League Results, Top of Safe Standings





The Italian League match between AC Milan vs Crotone which took place on Sunday night, February 7, 2021 ended with a score of 4-0. The victory made Stefano Pioli's squad return to the top of the standings which their city rivals Inter Milan had occupied.

Playing at the San Siro Stadium, AC Milan had no trouble facing the resistance of the basic occupants of the standings. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was actually able to bring his team ahead at the start of the first half, unfortunately Ibra's goal was disallowed by the referee because he was considered to have been in an offside position when receiving a pass from Davide Calabria.

After a number of failed opportunities, AC Milan's first goal finally came in the 30th minute. Ibrahimovic's neat partnership with Rafael Leao ended with Ibra's fierce strike which turned the ball in the top corner of the net for a goal.

After halftime, AC Milan continued to dominate the match. They were even able to score three goals in just six minutes.

In the 64th minute Ibrahimovic scored his second goal after using a bait from Theo Hernandez.

Five minutes later, Ante Rebic got his name on the scoreboard by using Hakan Calhanoglu's corner. Less than a minute later, Rebic also scored his second goal after grabbing an Ibrahimovic shot that was imperfectly pushed over by goalkeeper Cordaz.

The 4-0 result in the AC Milan vs Crotone match made the Red Devils squad return to the top of the Italian League standings with 49 points. They are two points ahead of Inter Milan who had topped the standings after beating Fiorentina on Saturday night. Meanwhile Crotone is getting immersed at the bottom of the standings with 12 points from 21 matches.
