Portugal will meet the Czech Republic in the Euro 2024 Group F match on Wednesday (19/5) at 00.30 IST. Both sides are used to meeting in tournaments.
This will be their fourth meeting since 1996. The Czech Republic won the first meeting in 1996 (1-0), while Portugal have won the last two (3-1 in 2008 and 1-0 in 2012).
Cristiano Ronaldo scored against the Czechs in Euro 2008 and 2012. The star will make another history if he takes to the field in Leipzig. Ronaldo would be the first player to appear in six Euros.
