Premier League: Anfield is no longer haunted, Manchester City won a landslide over Liverpool

Manchester City managed to beat Liverpool at Anfield in the 23rd Premier League match which was held on Monday (7/2/2021) in the night IST. No half-hearted, after playing goalless in the first half, Manchester City broke through the Reds' goal four times which Allison was guarding and won 4-1 in this match.

The match was fierce since the Starting of the match. However, during the first half, the opportunities obtained by the two teams were not converted into goals.

Even a golden opportunity for Manchester City from a penalty in the 37th minute could not be maximized by Ilkay Gundogan, who failed to do his job well. A goalless draw capped off the opening 45 minutes at Anfield.

The deadlock was only broken in the 49th minute after Ilkay Gundogan managed to pay for a mistake he made in the first half by breaking into the Liverpool goal.

Starting from the movement of Raheem Sterling who was able to outwit Trent Alexander-Arnold and then released a pass to Phil Foden who tried to shoot the ball but was denied by Liverpool goalkeeper Allison. However, the ball then fell to Ilkay Gundogan, who successfully tore the Reds' net.
